After two weeks of not showing my face up here, there is finally a new outfit I would like to share with you. As I am currently living in between my apartment and several libraries spread all over Berlin, my choice of wardrobe is always very comfortable but still chic.
Besides writing on my final paper for AMD and another assignment for uni (it’s complicated, I am currently studying at two universities at the same time), I finally have more time to sew and make use of the bunch of fabrics that are lying around at my place.
After all I am a big fan of knitwear, especially for the colder season, so it was just a matter of time until I started knitting myself and to my surprise: I am not as lousy as I thought. I have been working on a sleeveless cardigan for quite a bit now and you will definitely see it, once it is finished, but until then, there were other clothes on top of my wishlist: a light jumper and knitted trousers. But forasmuch as I know, I could never pull off knitting trousers or a jumper, thus I had to get a little creative. Idee on Kurfürstendamm sold this amazing ice blue/greyish fabric and my problem was solved by only one swipe with my EC card. I got quite a lot of it to not only sew this wonderful jumper but also the matching trousers which you will see in one of the next posts. The jumper is perfect for fall to pair with a turtleneck or wear on top of other clothes to really embrace the layer look. Also the color makes you crave for snow and wintertime, doesn’t it?
